Beige/Ivory GC-100FD with 24 Volt Solenoid

The GC-100FD is a heavy duty space saving vertical note cash drawer, with a Flip Top lid. It has 8 coin / 5 note compartments with a media slot and a 3 position key lock. The drawer can either be printer driven or used manually with a Key.

Considerations when choosing a cash drawer

• What physical space do you have to house the drawer? Width, Depth & Height.
  (Feet can be taken off the drawer to reduce the physical height required)
• How much space do you have to open the drawer? (Consider that operators stand in front of the drawer when opening it and may need to move around the drawer when it is opened)
• Do you need a cheque or media slot for Cheques or Credit Card Transactions?
  (This enables credit card slips and cheques etc to be placed in the drawer without opening the drawer)
• How often do you plan to remove excess cash from the drawer and where are you going to store the excess cash?
• Do you need a lockable lid, or multiple cash trays/inserts?
• Are compartments required for other valuable items? eg Gift Vouchers, Phone Cards. If so how many?
• How many Coin and Note Compartments are required?
• Which device is going to open the drawer? The Docket printer, or a PC serial, parallel or USB port, Foot Switch etc
• How often is the drawer going to be used? (How much wear and tear will it get. Cash Drawers are one of the most used items in a store.)
• Is an activity bell required?
• Do you want to store Notes Horizontally or Vertically?
